Tata kelola yang baik (good governance) merupakan sistem nilai yang dirancang agar sebuah organisasi dapat menjalankan aktivitas operasi dan bisnisnya secara sehat. Tata kelola dibutuhkan untuk mengatur dan mengendalikan hubungan antara manajemen dengan para pemangku kepentingan yang ada dalam sebuah organisasi, yang pada akhirnya diharapkan tercipta transparansi, akuntabilitas, responsibilitas, independensi dan fairness dalam organisasi tersebut. Perguruan tinggi merupakan sebuah organisasi yang kompleks dalam pengelolaan keuangannya. Dana yang diperoleh melalui pemerintah atau masyarakat harus dikelola sedemikian rupa, dengan tujuan akhir meningkatkan kompetensi sumber daya insani sivitas akademika perguruan tinggi tersebut, melalui kegiatan pendidikan dan pengajaran, penelitian, dan pengabdian masyarakat. Pelaksanaan tridharma perguruan tinggi tersebut menuntut pengelolaan anggaran dengan tata kelola yang baik, agar mampu mencapai sasarannya. Dalam banyak praktik, pelaksanaan anggaran pada perguruan tinggi sering menyita waktu, apalagi jika pelaksanaannya masih bersifat manual. Buku ini berupaya untuk menawarkan praktik pelaksanaan anggaran di perguruan tinggi dengan bantuan aplikasi komputer secara online antar unit kerja. Dengan aplikasi yang diberi nama Sistem Informasi Realisasi Anggaran (SiReal) ini, diharapkan pengelolaan anggaran dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi pemakai, menciptakan keakuratan data dan informasi, sehingga pengambilan keputusan manajerial pimpinan perguruan tinggi dapat lebih efektif dan efisien.

Technologies and Applications for Big Data Value

This open access book explores cutting-edge solutions and best practices for big data and data-driven AI applications for the data-driven economy. It provides the reader with a basis for understanding how technical issues can be overcome to offer real-world solutions to major industrial areas.
