In its first section the paper depicts product line, organizational principles, supply chain strategies, and marketing strategy. In its second section it bases the enterprise on analysis of market and business environment in Latvia. It can be shown that the project falls in line with both economical developments and national and EU policies favoring foreign investment. The paper assumes a fictional but realistic mother firm in the UK to expand to the national market of Latvia in this way. The business plan comprises a description of products, a marketing strategy, a depiction of organization, basic corporate strategies and envisaged supply network, and a schedule for implementation. Penelitian kuantitatif adalah metode penelitian yang berakar pada paradigma positivisme, yaitu paradigma penelitian yang memandang segala sesuatu pasti memiliki sebab akibat (hukum kausalitas). Penelitian kuantitatif juga dipandang sebagai penelitian yang paling murni dan paling objektif karena menggunakan variabel penelitian yang jelas, kontrol yang ketat dan diuji secara teliti melalai beberapa tahapan untuk meminimalkan bias yang diprediksi mempengaruhi hasil penelitian. Namun, pada perkembangannya banyak pihak yang menandang metode penelitian kuantitatif sebagai metode penelitian yang statis dan kurang menghargai unsur kemanusiaan, terutama penelitian bidang pendidikan. Anggapan tersebut tidak sepenuhnya benar, jika para peneliti kuantitatif bidang pendidikan lebih cermat memandang dinamika yang berkembang dalam dunia pendidikan.

Customer Satisfaction of ATM Service

A Case Study of HSBC ATM.

The Automated Teller Machine (ATM) is one type of innovation that can mechanically accept deposits, issue withdrawals, transfer funds between accounts, collect bills, and make small loans. This study aims at investigating the satisfaction levels of HSBC ATM cardholders (both staff and nonstaff) with respect to various aspects (promptness of card delivery, the performance of HSBC ATM, the service quality of ATM personnel etc.) of using HSBC ATM and their opinions on various other related issues (such as positive and inconvenient features of HSBC ATM, recommendation to improve the service quality etc.). This study is one type of exploratory research using convenience sampling technique where samples have been selected on the basis of convenience. Thus, projecting data beyond the sample is statistically inappropriate. This study only provides information for analyzing ATM scenario of HSBC. Though the samples were selected on a convenience basis and it may not represent the whole population, but still it is no less important for the HSBC management to consider the recommendations with due care for better customer service and for being in a better competitive position.
