The book elaborates on the aspects of Health conditions of the communities suffered for generations. The case is given for Hadi Caste and an occupational group as a special focus and Bauri Caste at certain point of reference. The book is primarily based on the fieldwork conducted as a part of M. Phil Programme in JNU. The experience of the researcher in the field adds as strength to the elaboration on morbidity and health perception of Dalits. The state of Jharkhand has been the age old land for the Hadis, one of the Schedule Castes list in the Census of India documents and they comprise special chunk of population. The occupation, customs, rituals, social interaction and many more aspects has been added in the book to enhance the generalization capability of the present work and that describe the socio-cultural and political interaction between health and life status of the Hadi community. The book also looked into the health of the studied population from the public health perspectives. The traditional occupational group like Hadis does help us to build the understanding about accessibility and availability of health services in India. The experiences of illness not describe the reality rather the long term impact occurs due to the community experiences at health centers and hospitals. The elaboration on these dalits castes reflects the historically committed mistake in the larger spectrum of Hindu caste society in India. How the occupation and caste becomes the only identity of a social groups and that leads to several consequences affecting the basic and fundamental rights of the deprived populations. This does not discuss one kind of exclusion based on Caste and occupation but the Systemic or constitutive exclusion carried years all together. They are experienced at social, cultural, political and economic fronts because it is complex and multi-dimensional in nature. Interestingly, my book also looks upon the problem of fieldworker and provides an account of researchers talk in the field. This will help all the research bases and initiatives focusing the caste and occupation as their variables. Precisely, this book covers the wider spectrum of Indian society and a few section of the population living in distress health situations given the cultural set up interwoven in Hindu society. The multidisciplinary nature of the book will be helpful for the students and researchers from sociology, anthropology, public health, historical and political studies, demography, social work and Gender studies, Social Exclusion in particular and humanities in general. Buku hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan judul “Pembinaan Keahlian Perawatan Jenazah bagi Mujahizah di Wilayah Kecamatan Tembarak Kabupaten Temanggung” ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kualitas mujahizah (perawat jenazah perempuan) di wilayah Kecamatan Tembarak, Kabupaten Temanggung, khususnya dalam hal memandikan dan mengafani jenazah. Metode yang diterapkan oleh pendamping adalah ABCD (Asset Based Community Development), di mana pelatihan perawatan jenazah dilakukan melalui langkah-langkah 1) Discovery (Menemukan), 2) Dream (Impian), 3) Design (Merancang), 4) Define (Menentukan), dan 5) Destiny (Lakukan). Pelaksanaan kegiatan pembinaan keahlian perawatan jenazah berupa FGD, pelatihan, pendampingan, monitoring dan evaluasi, dan ekspose hasil. Target pembinaan keahlian perawatan jenazah tersebut adalah mujahizah semakin membuka wawasan dan pengetahuan tentang bagaimana memperlakuan orang menjelang sakaratul maut, memperlakukan orang yang yang sudah meninggal dunia, memandikan, mengafani, menyalati dan mengubur jenazah. Sementara itu, pendampingan dilakukan dengan memberikan dorongan dan motivasi agar mereka mampu mempraktikkan perawatan jenazah melalui video tutorial hingga praktik menghadapi jenazah yang sesungguhnya. We estimate the long-run economic value of variable renewable generation with increasing penetration using a unique investment and dispatch model that captures long-run investment decisions while also incorporating detailed operational constraints and hourly time resolution over a full year. High time resolution and the incorporation of operational constraints are important for estimating the economic value of variable generation, as is the use of a modeling framework that accommodates new investment decisions. The model is herein applied with a case study that is loosely based on California in 2030. Increasing amounts of wind, photovoltaics (PV), and concentrating solar power (CSP) with and without thermal energy storage (TES) are added one at a time. The marginal economic value of these renewable energy sources is estimated and then decomposed into capacity value, energy value, day-ahead forecast error cost, and ancillary services. The marginal economic value, as defined here, is primarily based on the combination of avoided capital investment cost and avoided variable fuel and operations and maintenance costs from other power plants in the power system. Though the model only captures a subset of the benefits and costs of renewable energy, it nonetheless provides unique insights into how the value of that subset changes with technology and penetration level. Specifically, in this case study implementation of the model, the marginal economic value of all three solar options is found to exceed the value of a flat-block of power (as well as wind energy) by \$20--30/MWh at low penetration levels, largely due to the high capacity value of solar at low penetration. Because the value of CSP per unit of energy is found to be high with or without thermal energy storage at low penetration, we find little apparent incremental value to thermal storage at low solar penetration in the present case study analysis. The marginal economic value of PV and CSP without thermal storage is found to drop considerably (by more than \$70/MWh) as the penetration of solar increases toward 30\percent on an energy basis. This is due primarily to a steep drop in capacity value followed by a decrease in energy value. In contrast, the value of CSP with thermal storage drops much less dramatically as penetration increases. As a result, at solar penetration levels above 10\percent, CSP with thermal storage is found to be considerably more valuable relative to PV and CSP without thermal storage. The marginal economic value of wind is found to be largely driven by energy value, and is lower than solar at low penetration. The marginal economic value of wind drops at a relatively slower rate with penetration, however. As a result, at high penetration, the value of wind can exceed the value of PV and CSP without thermal storage. Though some of these findings may be somewhat unique to the specific case study presented here, the results: (1) highlight the importance of an analysis framework that addresses long-term investment decisions as well as short-term dispatch and operational constraints, (2) can help inform long-term decisions about renewable energy procurement and supporting infrastructure, and (3) point to areas where further research is warranted.
